The February 2021 Issue of Alaska Business Magazine featured an article titled “Rethinking Outdoor Spaces: Architects embrace natural, emotional beauty of Alaska” . Prominently highlighted in the article is the HooDoo Brewing’s outdoor spaced described by owner Bobby Wilken as “…the coolest biergarten we’d ever ever been in.” Metamorphic Design Build is proud to have played a major role in building this unique gathering place, where Fairbanks friends get together to share stories and enjoy locally brewed craft beer. The HooDoo Biergarten is one of the projects featured in our portfolio. It’s weather resistant yellow cedar benches and pavilion make a practical, attractive space. In 2020, we helped expand the Biergarten, and factor that the owner credits with helping them stay in business while keeping customers safe through the challenges of COVID.
